I am pleased to announce the release of the 2006-2007 Spring issue of The Junior Monicazette.  This junior high newsletter, as named several years ago by the junior high students who comprise the newsletter staff, contains articles, special features, essays, editorials, advice columns,  and more written entirely by SMS junior high students.  It is published twice each school year; this is the second issue of the 2006-2007 school year – and the seventh since the newsletter’s inception during the 2003-2004 school year.  The next issue will be released in January of 2008.

 

As their staff advisor, I am so honored to work with such a fun and talented group of young men and women – and I am so proud to offer their work to our school community as a representation of that spirit and talent.  If you have a son or daughter in the Junior High, please encourage him or her to consider joining The Junior Monicazette staff.  I would love to see some new students involved in the development of next school year’s issues!
