About St. Monica School
We are a Catholic school. In this community, we recognize each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. Our virtues come from our relationships with each other. Through baptism, we are children of God and brothers and sisters in Christ. We acknowledge the person of Christ in others. We understand that our vocation is that of student and we are charged to live out that vocation to the fullest. We respect our fellow classmates and teachers because we believe that whatever we do to and for others, we do to Jesus. We believe that Jesus feels our happiness as well as our pain. Our teachers remind us every day that Christ is among us. We, the students of St. Monica School, look for and find Jesus in the marvels of the world. We discover these wonders through learning science, mathematics, literature, language arts, physical education, and the arts. We apply the principles we learn to our daily lives. All of our school subjects are life giving. We see our teachers as searchers of the truth who set examples for us. They share their excitement for learning and for the mystery of creation with us. They stand together with us in awe of the manifestations of God, who is our truth. Together, we prepare ourselves to carry on Christ's work and respond to His call with faith and zeal.

STUDENT QUOTE
"After going to a non-Catholic private school for seven years, my parents and I decided that exploring the option of a Catholic school for junior high would be a smart choice. I transferred to St. Monica in the middle of 6th grade, but felt as if I went there for all of grade school. The educational experiences I had at St. Monica both in and out of the classroom are unforgettable and the people are some of the nicest I have encountered."
