Welcome to the St. Monica School SCRIP Rewards Program!

To get started, please access SCRIP-related forms via the appropriate links in the "Downloads" box located in the column to the right.
Instead of paying for essential, everyday expenses like food, gas, and clothing with cash or credit, you can pay with gift cards purchased ahead of time through the SMS SCRIP Rewards Program.
Families purchase SCRIP gift cards at face value, while retailers sell the cards to SMS at a discount. The difference is the profit. The Rewards are two-fold; profits are distributed between Home & School and the individual families that participate in the form of tuition credits.
Specifically, profits earned during the 2010-2011 fiscal year (which began July 1st) will be distributed just as they were last year. For each family, the first $100 of profits (not purchases), will go to Home & School and then 100% of all profits thereafter will be credited to the participating family’s SMS tuition bill for the 2011-2012 school year.
TO MAKE PARTICIPATION AS EASY AND “HASSLE FREE” AS POSSIBLE, FIRST:
Make a choice to pay the $100 contribution requirement for 2010-2011 up front or make gradual contributions with your purchases by filling out the SCRIP Participation Form.
You have three options and you may start at any time:
RECEIVING YOUR SCRIP
Pick up orders outside the school office on THURSDAYS at the SCRIP table between 3:00 and 3:30. If you are unable to be there at that time, your order will be held in the SCRIP lock-box in the office. The only exception is that SCRIP envelopes for Jr. Kindergarten students are placed into their school bags on Thursday pickup days.
A NOTE ABOUT PAYMENT
Sometimes SCRIP orders are quite large and you may want to know when we make our deposits so you can be sure to cover your purchases. With checks and cash we generally make deposits on Fridays or Saturdays. We generally debit accounts for our Electronic Funds Transfers on Tuesdays. If you have placed an order (regular or standing) your account will be debited on the Tuesday before you receive your order. If you purchase at an Inventory Sale your account will be debited on the following Tuesday.
Please join in on this profitable fundraising program. Last year we earned over $50,000. Almost $11,000 was raised to benefit all children at St. Monica School and $39,000 in tuition credits were distributed to the families that participated. Regular participation and thoughtful planning will be rewarded by lowering your family’s tuition bill!
