SCRIP Information

Welcome to the St. Monica School SCRIP Rewards Program!

ST. MONICA SCRIP REWARDS PROGRAM

 

Instead of paying for essential, everyday expenses like food, gas, and clothing with cash or credit, you can pay with gift cards purchased ahead of time through the SMS SCRIP Rewards Program.

 

Families purchase SCRIP gift cards at face value, while retailers sell the cards to SMS at a discount.  The difference is the profit.  The Rewards are two-fold; profits are distributed between Home & School and the individual families that participate in the form of tuition credits.

 

Specifically, profits earned during the 2011-2012 fiscal year (which began July 1st) will be distributed just as they were last year.  For each family, the first $100 of profits (not purchases), will go to Home & School and then 100% of all profits thereafter will be credited to the participating family’s SMS tuition bill for the 2012-2013 school year.

TO MAKE PARTICIPATION AS EASY AS POSSIBLE, FIRST:

Make a choice to pay the $100 contribution requirement for the current year up front or make gradual contributions with your purchases by filling out the SCRIP Participation Form.

 

You have three options and you may start at any time:

 

STANDING ORDER

ORDER AS NEEDED

INVENTORY SALE

 

1.  Fill out the SCRIP Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization Form.  It is required for all standing orders.

 

2. Fill out a SCRIP Order Form indicating your weekly or monthly standing order.  You may always modify or add purchases to you standing order by submitting them by noon Fridays to normaherbers@earthlink.net.

~~Weekly orders are ready for                 pickup each Thursday afternoon.

~~ Monthly orders are generally ready for pickup on the first Thursday of each month.

 

 

1.  Submit a SCRIP Order Form to the school office by Friday at noon for pickup the following Thursday afternoon.

 

2. Include payment with your order.  We accept checks, cash or electronic funds transfers.

 

3. To use EFT for payment fill out an Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization Form.  Only orders with EFTs can be submitted via email.

 

 

1.  Come to the SCRIP table located outside the school office on Thursdays between 2:45 and 3:15. 

 

2.  Fill out a Blue Inventory Sale Form and attach payment by check, cash or EFT.

 

3.  To use EFT for payment fill out an Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization Form. 

 

4.  Typical inventory includes:  Sendik’s, Pick’n Save, BP  Speedway, Starbucks, Stone Creek Coffee, Brueggers, Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club

RECEIVING YOUR SCRIP

Pick up orders outside the school office on THURSDAYS at the SCRIP table between 2:45 and 3:15.  If you are unable to be there at that time, your order will be held in the SCRIP lock-box in the office.  The only exception is that SCRIP envelopes for Jr. Kindergarten students are placed into their school bags on Thursday pickup days.

 

Please join in on this profitable fundraising program.  Last year we earned about $60,000. Over $12,000 was raised to benefit all children at St. Monica School and $48,000 in tuition credits were distributed to the families that participated.  Regular participation and thoughtful planning will be rewarded by lowering your family’s tuition bill!
